Bendeery Ale
In one of those moments that makes perfect sense when you explain it, a bottle of "Bendeery English Ale" popped up on the TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

After some investigation by the Marvel podcasting dynamic duo Matt and Pete of @PhantasticGeek, they discovered that the beer was named after Benjamin Deery a friend of the actor Nick Blood who played Hunter on the show.

I decided a while ago that I wanted to create a t-shirt design to celebrate Beer, the tv show and Ben of course !

I recreated my version of the label as seen on screen (below) then set about creating a design that was a little more t-shirt friendly which is what you see above.

If you like it and want the t-shirt version it is up on Redbubble at the moment.

There is a short article about the fictional brand on Wikipedia

Agent Carter - Council Of Nine
This symbol is quite prominent in Agent Carter Season 2, although that isn't the first time we saw it on screen.

It was first seen in an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode just before Christmas and is part of the Hydra legacy / history.

Since it was fairly significant I thought I'd have a go at producing my own version and this is it.

I have also added it to Redbubble if you want to see it on a t-shirt.

While I was creating it I also had a go at a couple of other Agent Carter season 2 items, the Isodyne Energy logo and the sign from the Talent Agency that hides the SSR in LA.

These haven't bee put anywhere yet, but if I get any feedback requesting them I could be persuaded :-)

Furys Toolbox
Fury's Toolbox, helps rebuild your S.H.I.E.L.D. from scratch.

We saw Nick Fury give Coulson this little cube of mystery at the end of season 1 it has been a source of much wonder. In recent episodes it has been part of the Real SHIELD plot and I thought about creating this t-shirt design.

It is up for voting at the moment on Qwertee and on Tee Tournament

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Takeaways
A couple of possibly related things in the Agents of SHIELD universe, first is my version of the Pescado Loco (Fish Crazy) takeaway shop logo that has been seen a couple of times in AOS.

It was spotted in the second season when Simmons was undercover in Hydra, and again later when Talbot's wife was accused of being Agent 33 in disguise.

Anyone thinking of Breaking Bad's Los Pollos Hermanos ?.

I created this after that early episode but only posted it on Twitter before as I thought it would be done after that episode.

The second thing is possibly a beverage that might be served in the fast food restaurant :-)

The idea was triggered by a discussion on the Phantastic Geek Agents of SHIELD podcast, when they were discussing the introduction of the "Real S.H.I.E.L.D." organisation.

"SHIELD Cola, It's the real thing"

Phantastic Geek - New Logo
As you may have seen in the past I have created a couple of things for Matt and Pieter the excellent voices behind the Phantastic Geek Popculture podcast.

A little while ago they asked me if I could have a go at designing a new logo for the website and associated icon for the social media feed. I was happy to give it a go and after coming up with a few ideas the general shape and style was decided.

A few more refinements and tweaks and things were good to go, there are more variations available to the guys, but I'll let them reveal them as and when they want to.

The new logo was launched at new year and it is great to see it on screen and get some great feedback from the podcast listeners.

So head on over to PhantasticGeek.com to see it in action and to listen / read what Matt and Pieter have in store for you in the coming year. I have to say I am excited for Agent Carter and will definitely be listening in to see what they have to say about it and find out all the connections and references I usually miss !

They have also launched a new Facebook page and there is a competition in January if you like the page plus their is currently something else I designed in an idle moment or two over there.

Head on over to their website to take a look and purchase it.

It is going head to head with a Walking Dead t-shirt design, so any support would be appreciated.

Below is the original version of this, originally conceived as a poster design, but never put into production.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Poster
At the end of Season 1 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. we were left with a few questions and a mystery box.

I thought I would create a poster for season 2 featuring the box and the (Alien ?) writing that Coulson was scratching into the walls.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Slingshot
A poster created for the Marvel TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

This was a sweet moment early on in the first season, and I wanted to capture the moment.

It is available as a limited edition poster in my web store

NIGHT NIGHT S.H.I.E.L.D.
While watching the most recent episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. I had an idea to create a t-shirt design based on the Night Night gun that Fitz and Simmons invented.

The initial idea was to create an advert for the gun with the Fitz-Simmons gun company.

The result was this, not exactly an advert, more of a statement.

I created the Fitz-Simmons logo based around the Embrace the Change quote that Fitz said a few episodes ago.

The design has been uploaded to Qwertee and has just been accepted, so if you have a moment and you like the design I'd really appreciate a vote.

As an added bonus for those reading and in case you missed these when I posted them on Twitter recently, here are another couple of AoS related designs.

The first is a recreation of the SHIELD Science Academy logo, and the second is my attempt at a logo for the Boiler Room club, incorporating some of the Avengers members logos.

If you want to use them yourselves as social media icons etc, then click on them for the larger versions.

Tahiti Its a Magical Place

If you have been watching Agents of SHIELD then you will know what this is all about.

I've uploaded this T-shirt design to Qwertee so if you have a moment to vote please do.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Icon
A quick profile icon idea, just a recreation of one of the many versions of the new Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show logo.

Click on the image for the full sized version.

I follow the antics of the ph.Geek podcast on a regular basis and thought that this might be a suitable icon for the podcast to use, so I created it, showed it to them and they loved it.

So if you get a moment, love podcasts and want to learn more about the S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show then head on over to their website and start listening today - phgeekpodcast.blogspot.com

A quick update as ph.Geek has been transformed into Phantastic Geek !

Same great podcast, slightly longer name :-)

So of course I had to update the logo, so I gave Phantastic a little Avengers A detail and the white colour really makes the name stand out.
