The Book of Rules
There are rules to follow when travelling with The Doctor so you need a book to collate them all in.

You can vote for this design on Qwertee.com

or you can vote for an alternative version on Othertees.com

A thought occured to me while creating this design that I could produce an actual book with this cover !

So I added a product to Redbubble which is just that :-)

The Rules
The Mogwai is an aincient enigma, treat it right and it will be your companion for life.

However if you do not follow the rules then you will be in trouble.

I created two variations of this design as the first one (below) looks a little awkward with the two silhouettes taking up a lot of room.

The second one (left) is more compact and gives a hint of what will happen if the rules are not followed.

Good News Everybody
A thousand years before Professor Hubert Farnsworth was born one of his ancestors invented the Farnsworth communications device that is used by the Warehouse 13 agents

Ok, maybe the two are completely unrelated but in my head this makes sense :-)

This will be submitted to various t-shirt sites soon.

Where it all began
Go back to where Doctor Who started in 1963, would you open the Totters Lane Scrapyard gates ?

You can vote for this to be printed on Qwertee (Qwertee took the design down so it is not longer available)

During the build up to the 50th anniversary I revisited this design and converted it to an Illustrator vectored design.

I then added a few elements and made it into an Icon to help with the #SaveTheDay campaign. Feel free to download and use it as your icon.

Henrys Garage
The very sad news that SyFy has decided to cancel (A Town Called) Eureka made me think about creating a Eureka based design.

You can vote for this to be printed on Qwertee

Planet Torchwood
To celebrate the return of Torchwood I created this design.

This is what the corporate logo might look like if Torchwood did restaurants

The normal t-shirt sites that I submit to have all rejected the design for various reasons, but it is available on a new site called Other Tees. You can vote for this to be printed on Other Tees

The Sandwich Maker
The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy says that this design is mostly harmless

If you have read the Douglas Adams book of the same name then you will know what I am talking about. If you haven't read it then please do, your brain will thank you.

You can vote for this to be printed on Qwertee

Primeval Park
If you are fan of the ITV show Primeval, then there are not many t-shirt around for you. This design cam about as someone on the Qwertee forums asked if someone could upload a Primeval design.

I took up the challenge as Primeval is a tv show I watch and this is the result, with a little added Jurrasic flavour.

You can vote for this to be printed on Qwertee

Scoop Recovery Team
Another favourite film of mine is The Andromeda Strain. Imagine you are one of the team sent to recover the scoop probe and this is the t-shirt you wear under your full body bio hazard suit.

You can buy this now on Cafe Press

Silent Huey, Dewey and Louie
One of my favourite Sci Fi films is Silent Running and these three little robots are the unsung heroes of the film.

You can vote for this to be printed on Qwertee

Six Impossible Things
Like Alice, do you tweet six impossible things before breakfast ? If you do then this t-shirt design is for you.

Available now on Cafepress or you can vote for it on Qwertee

River Song / Melody Pond Gallifreyan Name
As an accompanyment to the Doctor's name I present Melody Pond / River Song's name in Gallifreyan.

This is not uploaded anywhere yet, but depending on how the Doctor's name does I may decide to submit it to various sites soon.

The Doctors Name - You Have To Concentrate
Yes cliff hangers are annoying, especially when they come after only a few episodes, but what an episode :-)

The Doctor Who episode A Good Man Goes To War gave us so much to look at and think about it took me three viewings to even think that I had seen it all.

One of the most interesting things was the Doctor showing us the cot / crib that was his when he was a baby, and on the side of that was some Gallifreyan writing.

Even though there isn't a perfect shot of the writing and it is only on screen for a few seconds, I wanted to try and recreate the writing seen. Here is my attempt.

You can vote for this design to be made on Qwertee, it already has quite a few votes, but it needs a lot more if it is to be printed, so please head on over and vote, thanks.

Tintin and the case of the giant Nemo
With the imminent Tintin film about to hit the cinemas I thought it would be fun to create a Tintin t-shirt design.

Rather than just recreate a scene from the books I decided to have Tintin go on a new adventure to find Nemo, but it seems he may be needing a bigger boat !

You can vote for this design on Qwertee

I did also create this version which is a mock book cover for this new Tintin adventure

Formula 1
Yes it may be a little cheesy, but it's a formula and it's a 1, I hope Bernie doesn't sue me :-)

The formula is a completely random assemblage of symbols and chemical compounds, so who knows I may have stumbled upon the biggest discovery mankind has ever known, or it may just be the recipie for a big gooey mess.

This design is now on Qwertee and if you would like to see it in production please vote now.

Space Shuttle - Competition Results

Thanks for all the entries to the competition, it seems that the answers proved to be a little more difficult than I thought they might.

In the end there were no full correct entries so I drew a winner from the entries with the most correct answers.

Congratulations to John Grieves from Auburn, Indiana, USA.

The correct answers are going clockwise) :-

Millenium Falcon Star Wars

Starship Enterprise - Star trek (This version is the original)

Liberator - Blakes 7

Eagle transporter space 1999

Battlestar Galactica (new series)

Planet Express Delivery Ship Futurama

TARDIS Doctor Who

Starbug Red Dwarf

Jupiter 2 Lost in Space (60's TV Series version)

* See below

White Star Babylon 5

Moon rocket Tintin

* The ship that caught everyone out was the ship that looked like a Flash gordon Rocket ship.

Maybe it was a little too obscure but that might just be the way my mind works !

The answer is that this is the Captain Proton Rocket Ship that was used in Star Trek Voyager as a homage to the 30's and 40's movie serials. Click the previous link for some close up pictures or click this link for more details on Captain Proton.

Which means of course that the link I was after is Star Trek.

Super 8
This design was something that seemed so obvious it seemed daft not to do it.

Originally I had the idea of just using the superman symbol with an 8 instead of the S, but then it occured that I should give it some more meaning by adding the Super 8 film cells.

If you have been following the Super 8 viral marketing and ARG like I have then you will notice several references to it in this piece. If you haven't been following it then you can see it all at the UnFiction forums.

This design can be voted for on Qwertee

On the day that this design was submitted to Qwertee I was made aware of a similar idea being available. I am not surprised by this as it seems like such an obvious idea to me, unfortunately I didn't have the advantage of getting my design worn by one of the cast at the MTV music awards !

Doctor Who - We Are Not Fools
In the most recent episode of Doctor Who the Clerics, that we have seen before, were featured so I decided to recreate their emblem and add their slogan of "We are not fools".

At the moment this design is only available to vote for on Qwertee, but I may add it to Cafepress soon, so keep an eye out.

Doctor Who - Time War
This one is slightly different, it is something original I came up with.

Imagine if you were in the much talked about Timelord Time War. Which unit would you be a trooper in ? Well I imagined myself in the TARDIS Vortex Manipulation Division.

This design has been added to my Doctor Who store on Cafepress

Eyes on The Falcon
Simple but hopefully effective, this design shows the Millenium Falcon with the eye's (and beak) of the bird that inspired it's name.

I have submitted this design to Qwertee, you can vote by clicking here

Space Shuttle - Leader of the Pack
The space shuttle fleet is about to retire and I wanted to celebrate / commemorate the fantastic achievement that the space shuttle represents.

Click the image or click here to view more information about this design and also to enter a competition based on the spaceships seen in the design.

Time For The Doctor
Getting quite excited, as my Time For the Doctor clock design is getting near the top of the list at Qwertee. All votes gratefully accepted to boost the design by clicking the image or click here.

Cyber Evolution
To celebrate the return of the Cybermen to Doctor Who why not show your love of the (part) metal monsters.

You can vote for this design on Qwertee

Fringe Bishop Dynamic
The episode of Fringe that took us back to 1985, when Olivia was being experimented on and Peter is coming to terms with being on the other side, gives us this alternative logo.

It looks like Massive Dynamic was never founded so Walternate modestly founded Bishop Dynamic. This is a recreation of the logo seen in the episode "Subject 13".

As usual this logo is available on various items on Cafepress.

I have also combined the three Fringe alternative logos and made those available as well

LOST 1 Year Anniversary Frozen Donkey Wheel
Yes tomorrow is the 1st Anniversary of the end of LOST. Like many LOST fans I've been spending the last year thinking about the show and seeing LOST related items in all sorts of wierd and wonderful places.

As it was coming up to the anniversary I decided to create something that celebrated the show, but would also show off something that was a big part of it.

After much research (yes I watched a lot of LOST again) I decided on the Frozen "Donkey" Wheel that took Ben and Locke to Tunisia in different time periods.

Anyway I hope you enjoy the image and if you like it I have created some items on my Cafe press store including, t-shirts, iPad cases and a clock.

The Big Bang Theory - Screwed
If you watch The Big Bang Theory you either understand the Geek Speak or you don't.

This is one of the ones I do understand and found absolutely hilarious as it is so subtle but in your face at the same time.

Anyway I liked it so much I had to create a t-shirt.

Stained TARDIS
Simple really the TARDIS as it might appear in a stained glass window.

Also available in my Cafepress store on t-shirts and Mugs.

Cafepress items
Zort70 Designs at CafePress

Cafepress store is now open !
As you can see from the banner above, I've opened a Cafepress store.

Lots pof the designs I've created all available in the same online store.

Initially these are the Fringe, LOST and Doctor Who designs I've created, but hopefully there will be lots more in the days to come.

Please Vote !

Teo Torriatte T-Shirt in EMI Charity Auction
As mentioned previously this t-shirt design has been printed and signed by Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen.

It is included in the EMI Family 4 Japan Charity Auction hosted by e-Bay.

Click Here to go to the e-Bay site for this auction item - (Note the main picture on the auction page is of the Teo Torriatte single sleeve not the t-shirt !)

Update - The auction has now ended and the t-shirt raised 565 which is a fantastic amount.

Stained Numbers
This design was created to emulate the stained glass window seen in the last episode of LOST. In the show the actual window has symbols of faith in the middle of the circles

I didn't want to just recreate that image so I substituted the symbols for the LOST numbers. Some people almost worship them as well, after all millions of lottery players can't be wrong :-)

So I created the stained glass window design (minus the brickwork) and create a few Cafepress items with it on.

I also put it forward to the limited edition t-shirt site Qwertee (You can vote here).

Then I thought that I might produce something different from this design so I added some brickwork around the window. I created a version for my phone, and realised other people might like this too so here it is. Click the image above or click here for a few different sizes that should fit a lot of popular makes of phone.

Designs
A gallery of some of the designs I have created recently.

Including this design that will be included in a charity aution in aid of the Japan Relief effort. Click the picture or Click Here to view the gallery.
